This paper aims to improve the performance of proton exchange membrane fuel cells under low-humidity conditions, using Polyacrylonitrile (PAN) as the main material and preparing PAN fiber membranes through electrospinning. We explored the preparation process, pre-oxidation process and carbonization process of PAN fiber membrane, and used carbonized fiber membrane as a microporous layer. We analyzed physical properties such as surface appearance, surface roughness, and pore size distribution of the microporous layer, and tested the power density and polarization curve. It has been found that the fiber membrane prepared by electrospinning as a microporous layer has better performance than GDL29BC.
