The Evaluation of Linguistic Processes in Adults (PEPLA) battery promises to be a valuable tool for Colombia to obtain the linguistic profile of adults with acquired language disorders, by assessing the basic processes of comprehension and production of spoken messages, as well as the comprehension and production of written messages. The aim of this research was to contribute to the standardization of this battery in a region of southwestern Colombia. Its methodological design was quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental, and 145 normal-typical adults between 18 and 80 years of age participated The responses were as expected according to the content of the test and were above the 95th percentile of assertiveness. The Cronbach's Alpha statistic alpha = 0.903 was indicative of reliability classified as excellent, while the Kruskal-Wallis statistic established a significant relationship between the responses according to age range and academic level (p<0.05 and p<0.00). It is concluded that the battery presented stable normative data and had a high internal consistency reliability, therefore, it is possible to advance in the standardization process in order to satisfy the need for validated tools in the country.
