Abstract
En 中文
The photocatalytic CO2 reduction performance of BiOBr under visible light is severely limited due to its insufficient light absorption and rapid carrier recombination. To address this problem, we constructed a heterojunction by coupling BiOBr with Eu-MOF. This design not only broadens the spectral response but also significantly promotes the separation of photogenerated carriers. As a result, the Eu-MOF/BiOBr composites exhibit excellent photocatalytic CO2 reduction performance under visible light with an activity of 24.64 μmol/(g·h) at 17%Eu-MOF concentration, with activity 11.3 and 117.33 times greater than that of pristine BiOBr and Eu-MOF, respectively. This work proposes a viable heterojunction strategy to engineer highly active BiOBr photocatalysts for CO2 reduction.
