• The uranium-tolerant strain has an efficient removal effect on uranium within 48 h. • Under the optimal synergistic conditions, the removal rate of uranium by the bacterial community reaches 92.27%. • Bacterial synergy raises calcite proportion, improving uranium immobilization stability. • Microorganisms adsorption-mineralization enables uranium co-precipitation for effective remediation.
