Abstract
En 中文
• A multilayer heat-absorber/insulator laminate (HAIL) is proposed for lightweight fire shields. • Three core mechanisms of HAIL: delaying phase change, prolonging plateau, and slowing post-phase rise. • Optimized HAIL reduce thickness by 9–15% and areal density by 40–44% at equal FRL, increase FRL by 37–50% at equal thickness.
