Abstract
En 中文
Paper deals with optimization of sizing of integrated Hybrid Renewable Energy system (IHRES) consists of Photovoltaic (PV), wind turbine (WT), Diesel Generator (DG) along with battery bank as a storage system. IHRES provides electricity to remote located area, where extension of electric grid is difficult or not possible. The optimal sizing of aforesaid system is done by applying Simple Genetic Algorithm (SGA). The meteorological data of Solar irradiation and wind speed is taken for Bhopal (India),(Longitude 77 degrees 42' E, Latitude 23 degrees 25' N and Altitude 427 m). Authors have done optimal sizing of IHRES on the basis of solar irradiation, wind speed, demand load. SGA is used as a tool to optimize the system, based on system Annual Cost (SAC).Another considering parameters are maintaining power balance of the system, reliability index loss of load probability (LOLP) and CO2 emission. Three technologies: ASE300(mi-Si based EFG), Kyocera-120(mc-Si based wafer) and Astro-Power AP-120(thin-film Si) of different crystalline Silicon PV modules are considered for comparison. AP-120 gives better result as compared with other two.
