Abstract

• Deposition temperature optimization for SnS thin films • Films exhibit high absorption coefficient (>104 cm-1) and direct bandgap of 1.31–1.46 eV • Low electrical resistivity values of 0.49 and 0.29 Ω·cm confirm good film quality • SCAPS-1D simulations of ZnO:Al/ZnS/SnS/Mo cell yield 12.16% initial efficiency • Parameter optimization enhances solar cell efficiency up to 18.87%
