Abstract

Information is an important part of human life. It is often difficult to find. Therefore, ways to transfer information from one context to another have been developed. One of these ways is to use models. Common understandings of model and conceptual model do not exist. In software production, the use of conceptual models is very common. A common understanding of that term thus might appear desirable. In this paper, we discuss a specification of the term model. Based on that specification we are going to argue that no such common understanding is needed. The purpose of this paper is to trigger a related debate.
