Abstract
En 中文
Melioidosis is rarely reported from Bali, Indonesia. This study aimed to determine whether Burkholderia pseudomallei was being misidentified. One hundred isolates that had been previously otherwise identified were screened using PCR targeting two specific genes and sequencing. Five were confirmed as B. pseudomallei and had been misidentified as Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
