Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• Waste-derived carbon precursors, an agro-industrial waste and steel pickling waste, a hazardous waste, are exploited for EMI shielding and optical attenuation, facilitating waste-to-wealth transfer. • Synergistic use of waste oils and steel pickling liquor enables sustainable MWCNT synthesis. • The chemical nature of the precursor significantly modulates the crystallinity, defect density, and optical properties of the MWCNTs. • MWCNTs composites demonstrated high Ku-band EMI shielding effectiveness up to 21 dB. • SPO-derived MWCNTs showed absorption-dominant shielding (>85%) with <10% optical transmittance.
