Abstract
En 中文
• 4 types of transition zones are identified: (M-STZ, U-RTZ, MTZ-H, and MTZ-N). • From 2010 to 2020, the area of the transition zone on the U-R-N gradient slightly decreased, but the transitional significance increased. • Roads and POIs are the key drivers in the evolution of the transition zone, and the critical transition zones are gradually shrinking. • The transitional trend of the U-R-N landscape gradient is intensifying, with wilderness and metropolis becoming increasingly adjacent.
