Abstract

• A flexible prior construction strategy based on SPA is proposed to overcome the problem of relying on empirical assumptions in traditional prior modeling. • A Bayesian inversion method integrating SPA and iTMCMC is established. • Numerical examples verify the advantages of the proposed framework over traditional empirical-assumption-based methods. • Parameter inversion and reliability assessment of space truss structures are realized by this method.
