The process knowledge base serves as a fundamental component in the intelligent design of Computer-Aided Process Planning (CAPP), as it determines system intelligence and influences design quality. Within the realm of designing complex products, a significant volume of valuable process knowledge is generated. However, effectively managing this knowledge presents challenges, leading to poor accessibility for subsequent use and significant data loss. The existing process knowledge graphs lacks an efficient, and dynamic update mechanism, which cannot meet the changing production requirements of current enterprises. Therefore, a dynamically updatable knowledge graph construction method for CAPP is proposed in this work. Firstly, a knowledge representation model that combines product design processes and manufacturing data is proposed. Secondly, a Process Knowledge Learning Forgetting Model is proposed for dynamically updating the process knowledge graph. Finally, a prototype system is developed, and experimental analysis is conducted. Comparative evaluations against alternative to other methods, demonstrate that the proposed method enhances work efficiency and design accuracy in CAPP by 10% and 2% respectively.
