Abstract

Urban roof gardening has become a sustainable method to tackle food security and environmental issues, but determining optimal crop selection and resource allocation is difficult due to uncertainties in the availability of resources and crop yield. To address these challenges, a fully fuzzy multi-objective linear programming (FFMOLP) model is developed in this study. The constraints of the proposed model are represented using trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. The model is solved using a weighted arithmetic sum approach, which simultaneously considers multiple objectives with assigned weights, and the results are validated by sensitivity analysis which shows that the proposed model is robust and practical for rooftop farming under uncertainty.
