A general lightweight and adaptive cache space allocation scheme

Abstract

To facilitate efficient cache space management, many modern systems—such as Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) and multi-tenant cloud databases—adopt shared cache strategies. However, such shared environments often suffer from performance interference among tenants. While dynamic cache allocation schemes based on Miss Ratio Curves (MRCs) can alleviate this issue, they typically incur high computational overhead and suffer from performance variability.
