• Proposes a GCA-GAN surrogate model for spatial steel grid structures. • Builds a large-scale dataset linking geometry, loads and mechanical responses. • Jointly predicts 3D nodal displacements and member axial forces. • Achieves high prediction accuracy with significantly reduced computation. • Uses SHAP-based interpretability to reveal key geometric–loading couplings.
