• Eicosane PCM was selected using the PSI method for electronic heat management. • Melt impregnation of CuNP preserved PCM structural and chemical stability. • 1.0 wt% CuNP showed improved heat transfer and reduced device temperature. • CuNP-enhanced PCM achieved an enhancement ratio of 3.9 at 40 °C. • Thermal conductance reached 0.193 W/K at a heat input of 4 W.
