Abstract
En 中文
A new, rapid, high-throughput corrosion testing method is described, together with a computerised optical analysis method for quantification of the corrosion data. The method is described and demonstrated for aluminium alloy AA2024-T3. The test solutions were 10(-1)-10(-6) M NaCl and 0.1 M NaCl with 10(-3)-10(-7) M K2Cr2O7. Up to 88 simultaneous corrosion tests can be carried out on a single 100 x 75 mm plate, including controls. Testing and analysis of all samples can be completed in approximately one day. Multiple tests on multiple plates are used to show the reproducibility of the technique. Crown Copyright (c) 2012 Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
