Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• Yield window is the difference between control yield and attainable yield • Yield potential has larger impact on nitrogen efficiency than acknowledged • Yield window raised agronomic nitrogen efficiency by 4.7–6.5 kg/kg per 1 t/ha • Nitrogen efficiency at optimal N rate increased linearly with yield window • The new model can improve N optimization and food security modelling
Keywords:
Nitrogen use efficiency
Attainable yield
Yield window
Soil nitrogen supply
Cereals
Optimal N rate
