Abstract

In this note, we study the interior C2 regularity problem for the general Hessian quotient equation sigma k sigma l (D2u) = f. Under a concavity assumption, we obtain an interior C2 estimate for convex solutions when l = k-1, k-2. It is known that such estimate fails when l <= k-3.
