• Inherent strain of T-joint structure calculated by the TEP-FEM. • Inherent strain distribution construction by the non-uniform rational B-spline Surface. • The DFISM method proposed to calculate the bending deformation of ring stiffener. • The DFISM and SDB method improve the calculation efficiency great. • The discrepancy between the experiment and DFISM results are small.
