• We developed MiARS, a novel surgical technique enabling the precise induction of AR in mice, characterized by minimal invasiveness, high procedural survivability, and real-time modulation of regurgitation. • The MiARS mouse heart reproduces the clinical feature of AR, including eccentric hypertrophy, as well as structural and functional changes seen in AR. • Bioinformatics analysis in this model suggest that Ankrd1 may serve as a potential biomarker for AR-induced cardiac remodeling.
