Abstract

• A simple intramolecular aptamer switch for rapid detection of oxytetracycline (OTC) within 3 minutes. • This switchable aptamer, which undergo a remarkable conformational change upon binding to OTC, can translate binding events into fluorescence for measurement. • Benefitting from the high efficient intramolecular reaction, this aptamer switch has a low background and a large signal variation, availing sensitivity.
