Twenty-four species of stoneflies from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwestern China are reviewed. Pteronarcys sachalina Klap & aacute;lek, 1908 is recorded from the region for the first time, also representing the first record of this genus and Pteronarcyidae. The first larva descriptions of Filchneria tianshana Chen & Ma, 2022, F. urumqiensis Chen & Ma, 2021, and Isocapnia apicispina Chen & Du, 2017 are provided. Supplementary descriptions of the aedeagus of F. tianshana and F. urumqiensis are also included. The aedeagus of P. sachalina is likewise described for the first time. Illustrations and color photographs are provided for each species to facilitate their identification.
