• Proposing an adaptive integrated method based on non-dominance ranking to construct the global surrogate model. • Proposing a knee-point-driven exploitation strategy with confidence interval, in which the exploitation task on different knee-point regions is transformed into single-objective optimization problem. • Proposing a discontinuous-point-driven exploration strategy with interval optimization, in which the interval optimization technology is introduced to explore potential discontinuous PF regions. • Applies the proposed algorithm to building energy-efficient design and compressor airfoil design problem.
