• A train-slab track-bridge model with wheel-rail rigid contacts is established and validated. • A DNN-PDEM is developed to solve the random vibrations of train-bridge system. • The DNN-PDEM has superiority in solving the medium- and high-frequency random responses over traditional PDEM. • A field experiment of train-bridge system was conducted to verify the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method.
