• Limestone electrochemical cement production process was simulated by Aspen Plus. • This process achieves a 90.4% deep decarbonization with carbon capture integration. • System exergy efficiency reaches 44.61%, far exceeding traditional process. • At 0.02 USD/kWh electricity price, the clinker levelized cost falls to 70 USD/t.
