Acoustic emission behavior generated from active waveguide during shearing process
DOI:10.1016/j.jrmge.2025.01.015.png)
Abstract
En 中文
• The direct shear apparatus of active waveguide considering different particle sizes and gradings is designed. • The shear force and cumulative ring down count of acoustic emission show a power function relationship with displacement. • The combination of small particles and low shear speeds can produce the highest cumulative ring down count. • Selecting particles with uneven grading is beneficial to generate more significant acoustic emission signals.
