Actionable Knowledge Discovery (AKD) is increasingly vital in data mining, as it transforms raw information into insights that guide business decisions across diverse domains. By focusing on healthcare, finance, telecommunications, and other sectors, researchers have demonstrated that AKD can enhance processes such as customer relationship management, fraud detection, and public health monitoring. This survey summarizes key AKD methods, highlighting their strengths, limitations, and novel approaches for integrating domain-specific expertise. Our analysis offers a concise overview of the current state of AKD research and underscores its growing impact on practical applications.
