• The fractocohesive length, given by the relationship ξ=Gc/Wc where Gc is the fracture toughness and Wc is the work-of-fracture, remains invariant during thermal aging of elastomers (e.g., SBR and Silicone) across temperatures up to 120°C and for aging times up to eight weeks. • This invariance provides a direct route to predict the evolution of fracture toughness during thermal aging using a single, standalone expression, i.e., Gc=ξWc , eliminating extensive fracture testing for each aging state and non-physical fitting variables.
