• GSP method developed by extending the Zhang-Li SP approach, establishes unconditional convergence (spectral radius ρ<1) under the condition η>0, thereby providing theoretical foundations for ADI methods. • Dual-parameter ADI method ensures convergence for indefinite least squares via block splitting with β>α>0. • Sparse-system optimized solver avoids dense matrix operations while maintaining provable spectral radius <1 convergence.
