Abstract
En 中文
A dynamic mathematical model is proposed to investigate the hydrodynamic stability of natural circulation two-phase flow in a high performance thermosyphon with tube separator. A typical instability map for different tube separator diameters is made using the numerical solution of governing equations. The simulation results show that the operating temperature, the heat rate and thermosyphon inclination angle have significant influence on the how instability. The analysis approach can be extended to wider parameter ranges as well as various tube separator lengths and thermosyphon geometries. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd.
