Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
The classical computing has already done wonders with computation, however limitations on speed and security of transmitted information is endorsing novel computation techniques. Quantum computing is expected to resolve complex problems especially for unachievable speed with best possible secure communication. The logic gates for two Quantum bits (qubits) are one of the most important part of information processing in Quantum computing. Although photons are the best candidates for the processing of qubit but they need lots of nonlinear coupling to perform logic operations. Recent developments in the field of integrated optics showing promising signs for the development of Quantum networks and Quantum computation. In this article we have reviewed the technology of handling polarization encoded Qubit to perform logic operations and interconnections of logic circuits.
