Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• The origami cubic Kresling unit cells exhibit elastic deformation and jamming. • Near-cubic anisotropy: ∼76% lower than simple cubic truss. • Mixed stretch-bending dominance; stiffness 46% > P-cell, ∼3 × of truss. • Up to 2 × stronger and ∼10 × tougher than P-cell and simple cubic truss. • Knot induces extended plateau (N = 3) or progressive hardening (N > 3).
