Abstract

• We investigate anticipated synchronization in systems with distributed delay. • Exact anticipated solutions and stability regions are derived for linear oscillators. • Approximate anticipation is demonstrated in non-linear chaotic systems. • Distributed delay produces anticipation with amplitude amplification. • Multiple delay channels can extend the stability region of anticipation.
