• PC-SAFT and CP-PC-SAFT predictions for VLE and LLE in wide T-P range were compared. • 40 binary and ternary systems of naphthenes were treated with the same k12 value. • CP-PC-SAFT is superior in predicting most LLE, some VLE, and critical data. • PC-SAFT is more accurate in the cases of other VLE data, especially above 400 K. • These predictive approaches can be used for raw estimation of the unavailabe data.
