● Water‑stable CsPbBr3 QDs were synthesized, addressing perovskite instability in water. ● The sensor detects tetracycline with a wide linear range (1–64 μM), low detection limit (40.5 nM), high selectivity, and fast response. ● Photoinduced electron transfer (PET) is identified as the dominant quenching mechanism. ● Successful TC detection in tap water shows high recovery (96.5–102.7%) and reproducibility, confirming practical utility.
