• The research used bibliometric analysis and qualitative review to analyze AI-driven urban spatial analysis literature. • The integration of AI and spatial analysis is mainly reflected in the frameworks. • Research interests in microscopic variable, spatial effect and interpretability are shown in recent studies. • The contents that is difficult to explain and quantify in spatial analysis are supplemented by AI.
