Abstract

• A novel asymmetric spiro-type TADF emitter A-s-TRZ with a typical through-space charge transfer (TSCT) characteristic was delicately designed and synthesized. • The emitter exhibits excellent thermal stability, small ΔEST, short delayed lifetime, and high photoluminescence quantum yield simultaneously. • The corresponding doped OLED realizes a high EQEmax of 18.14% with stable green emission at 520 nm, showing great potential for efficient OLED applications.
