Thank you for your engagement1 with our piece, “Chest Binding and the Role of the Physical Therapist: A Commitment to Care.”2 The purpose of this perspective piece was to offer clinical considerations for the physical therapist management of transgender, nonbinary, and gender-diverse (TNBGD) individuals who bind their chests, position physical therapists as a potential provider of choice for the management of binding-related sequelae, and advocate for interpersonal and systemic practices to optimize the experiences of TNBGD individuals who bind, including encouraging the expansion of clinically-salient research related to binding.
