Abstract

This brief studies the finite-time control of high-order discrete-time nonlinear systems. A novel backstepping based nonsmooth finite-time controller design method is established through recursive computation. Under proposed control scheme, the finite-time stability analysis is given from the last subsystem to the first subsystem, and the settling time can be estimated. An example is given to verify the method.
