In this work, we propose to employ an active simultaneously transmitting and reflecting reconfigurable intelligent surface (ASTAR-RIS) with coupled phase-shift in the integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) system for secure communication while guaranteeing the sensing performance in the presence of multiple communication users and a sensing target, in which the target is also viewed as an eavesdropper. In this scenario, we formulate power consumption minimization problems for the perfect channel state information (CSI) case and the imperfect CSI case. To tackle these non-convex formulated problems, the consensus alternating direction method of multipliers (CADMM) and the penalty dual decomposition (PDD)-based S-Procedure methods are applied for the perfect CSI case and the imperfect CSI case, respectively. Specifically, the CADMM method is capable of updating closed-form solution in parallel and decoupling coupled phase-shift constraint and other constraints, leading to fast convergence, and the PDD-based S-Procedure method is introduced to address coupled phase-shift constraint and CSI uncertainty. Numerical results show that: 1) The smaller minimum sensing beampattern gain in the proposed scheme can achieve substantial power consumption reduction as compared with other schemes with ARIS and STAR-RIS; 2) The larger amplification factor in the proposed scheme can achieve more power consumption reduction as compared with schemes deploying ARIS and STAR-RIS; 3) A certain maximum amplification factor is sufficient to achieve minimum reduction of power consumption in secure ISAC system, rather than infinitely increasing the amplification factor at the ASTAR-RIS and ARIS.
