Abstract
En 中文
• Primiparous couples desire partner support during childbirth but face challenges due to fragmented and unclear information. • Emotional readiness and perceived risks limit partners’ willingness to be involved in childbirth, requiring improved communication and preparation. • Lack of practical skills and low confidence in partners reduce the effectiveness of support, emphasising the need for skill-based prenatal training. • Couples prefer hospital-endorsed, timely training close to childbirth to prepare for practical support roles.
