Abstract

Quantitative and base-resolution sequencing methods are critical to investigations of the biological functions of diverse RNA modifications. These methods may also be employed for clinical studies and clinical applications in the future. In this In Focus article, we introduce and discuss the development of Bisulfite-Induced Deletion sequencing (BID-seq) for quantitatively detecting mRNA pseudouridine (W) modifications at base resolution.
