Abstract

• α-Fe2O3 NPs and diphenylcarbazide were loaded into a polymeric blend by solution casting. • TEM, XRD, FTIR, FE-SEM, and mapping were used to evaluate the physicochemical features. • α-Fe2O3 NPs caused significant improvements in the dielectric properties of the matrix. • Co-doping with α-Fe2O3 and DPC introduced new optoelectronic features to the matrix. • The findings suggest the use of these nanocomposites in micro- and optoelectronic devices.
