Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
This work aimed to investigate the contributions of a workshop on the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in the creation of learning paths for higher education teachers. The workshop participants were master's and doctoral students from the Education, Technology and Communication (ETC) discipline of the Postgraduate Program in Education at the Catholic University of Brasilia in 2024. This article adopts a qualitative approach, with exploratory research from the perspective of complexity theory, which allowed the two axes of this study to be articulated: artificial intelligence and education. Considering that GenAI has significant potential to promote innovative teaching and learning practices and that its technological configurations are created by humans, it is concluded that the use of AI to create learning trails is a contributory tool to the extent that it suggests relevant activities, but it is important to highlight the need for training for teachers and managers in the appropriate use of AI in education and that issues relating to ethics, conscious, sustainable use, respect for diversity and equity are recognized as fundamental to the reliable use of AI in education.
