Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• Plasma sprayed LnMgAl11O19 is introduced as a new CMAS resistant coating. • CMAS degradation mechanism of LnMA coating at 1350 °C is reported for the first time. • Smaller rare-earth cations are more effective at forming the corrosion product. • Coating pre-heated at 1200 °C for 100 h shows optimal resistance in long-term exposure. • High density underlies the superior CMAS resistance of LnMA bulk ceramic.
