• Sacha inchi oil is a sustainable BPCM for cold thermal energy storage. • Phase change spans −27.5 to −4.9 °C with 78.57 J/g latent heat. • TGA confirms thermal stability up to 300 °C for safe processing. • BPCM-SCH may extend vaccine cold-chain duration by 18.65 % in tested conditions. • Amazonian sacha inchi supports low-carbon circular thermal management.
