Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• A chlorophyll-based canopy photosynthesis model (CPM) is developed and evaluated. • CPM has the simplest structure for estimating gross primary production (GPP). • The input of CPM includes solely canopy chlorophyll content or its proxy. • CPM is nearly generic across vegetation types and photosynthesis pathways. • The estimation accuracy of CPM-based GPP is validated using data from 301 sites.
