Abstract

• Impact of clinical remission on clinical outcomes in asthma with inhaler therapy is unclear. • Achieving clinical remission significantly slows the decline in lung function. • Additionally, exacerbation can be reduced in patients who achieved clinical remission. • Clinical remission can be considered as optimal therapeutic goal in asthma management.
